Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 September 2026

A personal portfolio, published for information. Nothing here is sold, nothing here is professional advice, and nothing here is an offer or a contract.

1. What this site is

tzortzoglou.eu is the personal portfolio of Stefanos Tzortzoglou, a private individual based in Uppsala, Sweden. It exists to describe professional experience and technical work. It is not operated by a company, and it is not a commercial service.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

2. What this site is not

  • Not professional advice. Descriptions of technical approaches, architectures and data-handling practices are accounts of past work, not recommendations for your situation. Do not rely on them as engineering, security, legal, or compliance advice. Take your own advice before acting.
  • Not an offer. Nothing here constitutes an offer to enter into a contract, to provide services, or to employ or be employed. Any engagement would need a separate written agreement.
  • Not my employer's view. All opinions are my own and are not made on behalf of any current or former employer or client.

3. Case studies and claims

The case studies on this site describe work carried out in a professional capacity. They are deliberately written at a level that identifies no client, contains no confidential information, and discloses no client data, credentials, or proprietary implementation detail. Names, figures and identifying characteristics are omitted or generalised.

Where a case study describes an outcome — a compliance objective met, an integration delivered — it describes the goal the work was designed and reviewed to achieve within that project. It is not a warranty, a certification, or a legal opinion about any third party's compliance, and it should not be read as one.

There are no customer testimonials or reviews on this site. If any are ever added, they will be genuine, attributed, and published with the reviewer's permission.

4. Intellectual property

The written content, page copy, structure and design of this site are © Stefanos Tzortzoglou, unless stated otherwise. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial parts of the site as your own.

Source code published on my GitHub account is governed by whatever licence accompanies each repository, not by these terms.

Third-party material used on this site remains the property of its owners and is used under its own licence:

  • Font Awesome Free — icons under CC BY 4.0, fonts under SIL OFL 1.1, code under MIT (licence).
  • Devicon — MIT licence.
  • Poppins typeface — SIL Open Font License 1.1.
  • github-calendar and canvas-confetti — MIT and ISC licences respectively.

Product names, logos and trademarks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, affiliation or partnership.

If you believe any material on this site infringes your rights, email stefanos@tzortzoglou.eu with the specific URL and I will review and, if appropriate, remove it promptly.

5. The private area and accounts

Part of this site is personal content intended for specific people. Access requires an account, and every account is approved manually. Registering does not entitle you to access.

  • Provide an email address you actually control, and keep your password confidential.
  • I may decline, suspend or delete any account at my discretion, and may remove the private area entirely at any time.
  • Accounts are free. There is no subscription, no fee, and no paid tier.

6. Payments and refunds

This site sells nothing. There is no shop, no checkout, no subscription, no donation button, and no payment of any kind is taken or processed. No payment details are ever collected.

Because no money changes hands, there is nothing to refund, and a refund policy would describe transactions that do not exist. If this site ever starts selling anything, a refund and cancellation policy — including the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Swedish distansavtalslagen (2005:59) — will be published here before the first sale.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the private area, the underlying database, or any account that is not yours;
  • scrape, mirror or republish the site at scale, or place load on it beyond normal browsing;
  • use the site to distribute malware or unlawful material.

Good-faith security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, please report it privately to the email address above before disclosing it, and give me a reasonable chance to fix it.

8. Availability and accuracy

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". I make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and I may change or remove any part of it at any time without notice. Content is accurate to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing and may become out of date.

External links are provided for convenience. I do not control linked sites and am not responsible for their content, their availability, or their privacy practices.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything you relied on from it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Swedish law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional harm, or for gross negligence. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under Swedish and EU consumer law are unaffected by these terms.

10. Privacy

How personal data is handled is set out separately in the Privacy Policy and the Cookies & Local Storage page, which form part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes fall to the Swedish courts, with Uppsala tingsrätt as the court of first instance, that being the district court for my place of residence. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your own country's law, nor of your right to bring proceedings there.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page, with its "last updated" date at the top.
